This sort of thing didn’t start yesterday. It’s been going on for the last few years, but I’ve finally had it.  I’m not talking about hoaxes that purport to show how elected officials have blundered.  I’m not even talking about misquotes or quotes taken out of context.  Both conservatives and liberals spread misinformation, but this goes beyond the lies.  With his irresponsible statement about President Obama, “I do not believe that the president loves America,” and “He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country,” Rudy Giuliani has stepped over the edge with an appeal to the lowest of the low.

The following images were collected over the last several daysimages by following “shares” or “likes” on Facebook.  I didn’t have to go any further.  Some are reasonably new; some are left over from old hate campaigns.  Most of us wouldn’t think of stooping this low, but everybody has seen this stuff out there, sometimes in the name of humor, but always with the idea of spreading hate.  And these  are the people Giuliani and others of his ilk appeal to.  Imbeciles.
